What drives the price of Tree Removal
Tree removal is priced around controlled handling, not just trunk diameter. Height, species, decay, lean, nearby buildings, and overhead utilities determine whether a crew can fell sections freely or must lower every limb with ropes. Backyard access may rule out a bucket truck and require climbers, while a crane can dominate the job when branches extend over a roof or the trunk is unsafe to climb.
Two quotes may include very different endpoints. Cutting the trunk near grade does not automatically include stump grinding, root removal, hauling logs, chipping brush, repairing lawn damage, or obtaining a protected-tree permit. Crane mobilization, traffic control, utility coordination, and carrying debris through a narrow gate can explain a wide difference even for the same tree.
