Terms of use

The short version

What Neighbors Paid shows anonymous, community-reported prices. They are informational only, not quotes, offers, professional advice, or a statement about any specific provider’s current pricing. Verify prices directly with providers before making decisions.

Using the site

  • Submit only prices you actually paid or were firmly quoted.
  • Don’t submit false reports, spam, or content intended to harm a business or person. We remove such content and may block submission access.
  • Don’t copy or republish the whole collection of reports. A public, attributed API is the supported way to reuse our data.

Your submissions

By submitting a price you grant What Neighbors Paid a perpetual, royalty-free license to display it and include it in our published statistics. Submissions are anonymous and cannot be traced back to you. That also means we cannot selectively delete “your” reports on request, since we have no way to tell which reports are yours.

No warranty

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Community data may contain errors despite our quality mechanisms. To the maximum extent permitted by law, What Neighbors Paid is not liable for decisions made based on the data shown.

Provider names

Provider names appear only when independently reported multiple times. If you represent a business and believe data about it is inaccurate, contact us and we will review the underlying reports.
